Loyal Source Government Services is looking to hire a qualified Physician  Assistant to work as a civilian contractor working at Munson Army Health Center in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.



  • Possess a Baccalaureate or Master' s degree.
  • Be a graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)
  • Have and maintain certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Shall have and maintain a valid unrestricted license in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine at the MTF where services are provided. Must have current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number (certification).
  • Have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • minimum of two years full-time active physician assistant in general, internal or family medicine practice experience in which they consistently administered both diagnostic and treatment services.


Schedule: Generally anticipated that the PA will work from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 to 1900. May be required to work beyond the end of the shift while providing patient care in emergent and extenuating circumstances.


Scope of Work

  • Perform and provide medical examination and treatment as required
  • Collect and record, in proper format, medical and social historical data appropriate to the patient' s condition.
  • Perform a general physical examination. Record the findings in proper format and determine medical qualification for various purposes.
  • Select the most appropriate diagnosis and treat in cases of uncomplicated common illnesses and injuries (refer when necessary)
  • Recognize those more complicated cases, initiate treatment (if appropriate), and refer to a higher level of medical expertise for diagnosis and/or treatment
  • Stabilize and manage a patient in a medical or surgical emergency and/or transfer to physician care.
  • Maintain inpatient and medical records in accordance with MTF procedures.
