Highly successful Specialty Construction Contractor is seeking an Accounting Clerk.  Family owned and operated, our client is very stable and financially strong with a 50+ year track record of success.  They continue to grow their business by providing highly skilled services to an expanding client base. 

 

A/P:
  • Review monthly vendor statements and timely follow up on missing invoices
  • Prep monthly invoices for A/P Associate to process
  • Organize vendor invoices for monthly IPD billings

 

A/R:
  • Prepare and distribute A/R invoices
  • Follow up with customer on payment status for invoices outstanding more than 30 days

 

Payroll:
  • Enter time from timesheets weekly into IPD billing spreadsheets

 

Personnel:
  • Greet new hire and walk them through the new hire process including safety video, issuing employee safety items and ensuring that paperwork is completed properly
  • Perform all functions with respect to new hire paperwork including social security number confirmation, registering employee with state, ensuring all paper work is completed properly, making employee personnel file
  • File all employee documents / information in employee file
  • Research and complete information for requests for personnel information including requests from third parties, State of Florida unemployment office, etc.

 

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experienced in A/P and A/R
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle high volume of work
  • Ability to multitask and ability to focus with constant interruptions
