MINIMUM CLEARANCE: TS/SCI
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Manage and execute aircrew training within the MQ-1/9 enterprise. Manage funding, travel, and student allocations to fulfill requirements within the RPA training community.
Review, coordinate, and prepare RPA Instructions and policy (Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-2 MQ-1/9V 1-3 and Air Force Tactics, Technics and Procedures (AFTTP) 3-1 Technical Orders) changes and rewrites in coordination with Wing and Staff standardization and evaluation functions.
Review, coordinate, and prepare Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) tasking messages and reports.
Review, coordinate, and prepare Realistic Training Review Board (RTRB) briefings and publish pre and post RTRB products semi-annually.
Perform duties as operations representative for Predator Mission Aircrew Training System (PMATS) and Distributed Missions Operation (DMO) integration. Develop DMO Strategy and brief leadership.
Review, coordinate, and prepare responses for Safety Investigation Board (SIB) or Accident Investigation Board (AIB).
Review, coordinate, and prepare mishap review panel brief and semi-annual Air Force Safety Automated System (AFSAS) review for Commander, ACC (COMACC).
Review, coordinate, and prepare waiver packages required for deviation from regulations and AFIs.
Provide support for the development and staffing of Staff packages, CONOPS, CONEMPS, Enabling Concepts, Roadmaps, and Contingency Plans; perform Major Weapons System (MWS) Lead Command duties.
Coordinate with Wing and DoD Staff agencies to organize, train, and equip the RPA enterprise in accordance with (IAW) Chief of Staff of the Air Force (CSAF) direction.
Coordinate with RPA Systems Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, and ACC/A5I for RPA system enhancements and assist in defining modernization requirements to support current and future weapon system upgrades, training, sustainment, and employment.
Attend Component Commander Exercise and Planning Conferences (approximately 4 per year).
Manage and coordinate MQ-9 exercises, as required.
Coordinate with Stan/Eval on MQ-9 related FCIFs, publications, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess a Master’ s degree.
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience managing MQ-1 or MQ-9 related operations programs (within last three years) or 7.5 years of recent (within last year) rated MQ-1 or MQ-9 experience (recent within last six years).
Minimum of 9 years of operational mission experience in DoD aircraft performing duties as rated aircrew member.
Minimum of 3 years of Numbered Air Force or higher-level staff experience directly related to managing complex operations-related aviation programs
